Work, work, work.

Things have been really busy here. No progress on the novel, but lots of progress on the layout for the d20 version of The Kandris Seal. I’ve been in contact with several artists about doing some artwork for the upcoming books, and I’m in the planning stages for the future books I’ll be writing. I think that, at least for now, I’ll be concentrating on d20 stuff. I can produce that stuff faster, and don’t have to worry about getting products approved.

The Domino Girls webcomic continues to update on schedule. Tomorrow’s page completes the first “book”. The second book starts next week. That reminds me. I need to get working on putting together a bunch of pages.

On Today’s Schedule

The plan today is to work on TMA. I want to try and get Chapter 2 revised and posted for critique. It’s going to be a lot of work. I’ve got comments from the first version to go over, and it’s going to be a serious rewrite, on par with what I did for the first chapter.

I’m also scouting out potential artists for upcoming projects for Hart-Felt Productions. We’ll see how that goes.

Missed A Day? Oops!

So much for posting every day. Yesterday was filled with working on The Kandris Seal (HERO System) revisions, some more work on the Pulp book (which still needs a name), and cleaning/decluttering. I also took some time out to read sections of The Writer’s Journey, Second Edition: Mythic Structure for Writers by Christopher Vogler. I’m consciously trying to use the heroic journey in The Morgan Affair.

Today, I’m doing crits for my writing group. I’m rather behind on those, and I want to get caught up.

So Tired (Refrain)

I spent most of the day yesterday working on the layout for the Pulp Kandris Seal book. In doing so, I discovered a bunch of character and item write ups that need to be done. I used to love doing that kind of thing, but these days, I really dislike doing up stats. Tell me to come up with descriptions, backstory, anything narrative, and I’ll jump at the change and bang something out. but stats? No thanks.

Yeah, need to come up with a proper name for the Pulp book. Maybe something like Fists, Phantoms, and the Kandris Seal. Bleh.

I’m going to try and lie down for a short nap in a couple of minutes, then spend some time catching up on the crits I owe for my writing group. Maybe actually do more work on my novel.
