November has come and gone, and so has National Novel Writing Month. As you’ll be able to see, I “won” this year, with a final word count of 51,342 words. It was tough, but I was lucky enough on several days to find a groove and the words just came pouring out.

Now that it’s December, it’s time to move on. I have a lot more to write for The Morgan Affair, and a number of projects that have been sitting on the backburner for far too long. I’m not sure if I’m going to be talking about those here, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Starting in the new year, I intend to be doing a series of posts – probably three times a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) – going through an example of worldbuilding. I’ll be working my way through Patricia Wrede’s Fantasy Worldbuilding Questions a section or two at a time. I’m not sure exactly if I’m going to do a world I’ve already started on but haven’t completed, or if I’m going to do something brand new just for this project. Regardless, when I’ve finished, I’ll put it all together into a file and make it available as a free download.
