Happy Belated Easter

This past weekend was both hectic and relaxing. The hectic part came when our dryer decided to stop working properly. Typical. Just before we have to go away for the weekend, and before my usual laundry day it dies. The heating element is probably gone, which means another call to Sears.

The kids did have a lot of fun at their grandparents’ place. They ran around like crazy outside, and generally had a lot of fun. Their hunt for Easter eggs on Sunday morning was a hoot, and I got a couple really good pictures.

Finally, I was able to do a lot of work on the fantasy world I’m creating, called Kolrath. It’s the setting for the novel in progress, and will eventually be published as a role playing game product. The work I did was on the religion of the world. The book will be published using d20 system. There’s a possibilty I’ll either do a different version in HERO System, or make the HERO System stats as a seperate appendix for a nominal fee (or for free for people who purchased the d20 book). This will depend, of course, on whether or not I can get a license from Hero Games and the book gets approved.
