Slow Day

Went back to the optometrist yesterday to get my new glasses checked. Turns out the problem isn’t with the new glasses, but with my eyes. Something got messed up during the exam, and it turns out the prescription isn’t going to cut it. I need bifocals. Great. Mild astigmatism in one eye, and bifocals, and I’m not even 40 yet. What fun. Not that I really care that I have to have bifocals, it’s just that not being able to see without getting headaches makes it rather hard to work. Yet another delay in getting stuff done.

I know, excuses, excuses. Right now, however, it’s all I got.
