			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What is etymology?  It&#8217;s the study of word origins.  I found a website called <a href="http://www.etymologic.com/index.cgi">Etymologic!</a>, a website that does an etymological quiz &#8211; it picks out 10 randomly selected etymology (word origin) or word definition puzzles to solve, and you&#8217;re given a couple of possible answers.  Some of the answers are quite sneaky &#8211; they sound very plausible, but they&#8217;re not correct.</p>
<p>I got 6 out of 10 when I did the quiz.  I&#8217;ll go back and do it again some other time, once I&#8217;ve recovered from the shame of it all.  <img src='http://www.lisahartjes.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> <strong>Similar Posts:</strong>
