1. I finished Chapter 2 Revision 1 of TMA.
  2. Spent some quality time with my munchkins.
  3. Got caught up on the Heroes episodes I missed.
  4. Tried not to check the USPS tracking system every 30 seconds to see where my copy of A Lick of Frost is.
  5. Listened to the most recent episode of The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy.
  6. Sat there, staring at the computer screen, wondering where the heck all the time went.
  7. Listened to the “soundtrack” of Evil Genius, one of my favorite computer games.

For those of you keeping track of such things, you’ll see that the word meter for the TMA rewrite has actually gone down by about 600 words. That’s because in the rewrite of Chapter 2, I cut out a lot of stuff that didn’t fit with the new mood.

And the Gates of Amduat word meter will be staying at 0 until November 1st, when I start writing. That’s why I’m pushing so hard to get the HFP stuff done and the books out.
